As we continue through the Wheel of the Year, approaching the quarter point of Equinox (a time of harvest, reflection, integration and transition from one season of life to the next), nature is inviting us to slow down, tune in and listen as the call to rest gets louder.
Join Naseem for a delicious journey of gentle movement, deep rest and relaxation. Supporting your body, mind and nervous system peacefully in reconnecting to its natural state of stillness, quietude and well being.
Within this restorative practice you can expect to be moving mindfully through a gentle flowing sequence combining breath, meditation, simple hatha poses and longer periods of rest in restorative poses. All together designed to unravel your whole being into a deep state of relaxation and homecoming.
We will be working mostly on the floor with plenty of blocks, bolsters, cushions and blankets to support the body in its gentle surrender. The poses are simple yet potent, and sometimes held for up to 15 minutes to support the drop deeper into a sense spaciousness and quietude.
Naseem will often mix in the healing power of essential oils, yoga nidra, breath work as well as guided meditations to support the sweet melting into relaxation. All supported by a soothing sound track of tranquil tunes.
Take some time out for yourself, and allow space for a joyful and deeply nourishing transition into Autumn.
